Namibia with Pierre Frank and Pablo - Part II

Hi guys! Just few hours ago Pierre and Frank have left. I describe quickly our last 2 weeks. We rent a 4x4 Nissan with the tents on the top and we recruited a 4th man, the Spanish Pablo (for Testronic friends: so the FIGS team was complete! :-))
We went towards north, to the Etosha National Park. We spent 2 days there, going up and down with the car, we saw a lot of animals and, at the end, also 2 lions. After we moved in the far north of the country, practically at the border with the Angola, in an area that is inhabited by a population called Himba. Some roads there were very hard to drive. After we moved back to south, in the skeleton coast, that is a strip of land between desert and sea. We saw thousands of seals, with a lot of puppies of 1 month and half old, and after we arrived in Swakopmund, where we rode the quads in the desert. After we went to see the famous red dunes. We saw the sunset from the highest dune and there were only the 4 of us. Then we moved to an absurd city on the sea: Luderitz with a perpetual strong and cold wind and near there we visited a ghost city, an abandoned city that was from 1908 to 1956 a place where diamonds were extracted, worked and sold.
But generally I think that what is really wonderful of the Namibia are the parts travelling on the road. The scenario change continuously and all around (or crossing the road!) there are continuously a LOT of animals, cattle, various gazelles, ostriches, monkeys, giraffes etc... etc... and also in the night, when during the barbecues the jackals were always around, and on the ground and up the trees was full of absurd insects and similar... and the roars of the lions in the deep night... (at Etosha, but luckily we had the tents UP the car, so quite safe ;-)
And then today we bring the car back here in Windhoek: 13 days, 4800 Km, 3 wheels pierced and 1 little accident (but it was not my fault! I hit a car that stopped suddenly without the red lights of the brake working).
